Through the cracks in the street and the grass on their feet, they're just numb with delight.
Until they stare into the sun and burn those holes into their eyes and turn the day into night.

We can stare, we can stare in the mountains and the air is so stenched with their fright.
And we can sit against a tree in the hopes we will free all the demons of life.
And we can sing with the birds and the leaves by the river floating into the sea.
But in the mountains, all these lights and electrical lines will burn holes into our eyes.
